Objectives of TiC - Thrive in Canada

Provide newcomers with comprehensive resources and guidance to help them navigate essential settlement processes, including housing, healthcare, and financial systems in Canada.

Offer tailored workshops and training sessions to help newcomers understand the Canadian education system, pursue further education, and access academic opportunities that align with their career goals.

Equip participants with the skills, knowledge, and networking opportunities necessary to build successful careers in Canada, including resume building, interview preparation, and professional growth strategies.

Create a supportive community for newcomers by organizing events and workshops where participants can network, share experiences, and access mentorship from professionals and peers.

Ensure that newcomers are not only equipped for immediate settlement but also empowered for long-term personal and professional growth, contributing meaningfully to Canadian society.

Here’s the sixth objective for Thrive in Canada (TiC) focusing on helping newcomers in their business ventures:

Provide tailored workshops and mentorship for newcomers interested in starting or growing their businesses in Canada. This includes guidance on understanding the Canadian business landscape, legal requirements, funding opportunities, and strategies for building a successful enterprise. TiC aims to empower entrepreneurs to confidently launch and sustain their business ventures in a competitive market.
