Settlement: First Nations - Newcomers
Project Name: Cultural Exchange Workshops
Objective: Host regular workshops where First Nations elders, artists, and storytellers share their culture, language, and traditions. Newcomers are encouraged to share elements of their culture as well, allowing for mutual cultural exchange.
Activities: Storytelling sessions, traditional crafts, language learning, music, and dance exchanges.
Outcome: Deepen understanding of Canada’s roots while creating bonds over shared cultural practices.

The Management Support Team at RISEC consists of dedicated professionals who oversee the planning, implementation, and evaluation of our programs and services. They work tirelessly to create a supportive environment where newcomers can access the resources they need for successful settlement, education, and career development in Canada. With expertise in various fields, including community development, project management, and nonprofit leadership, our team members bring a diverse set of skills to the table.
Our management team is responsible for building and maintaining partnerships, securing funding, and ensuring that our operations comply with Canadian data privacy laws and standards. They lead our volunteer teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure that our projects are delivered on time and within budget. Their strategic thinking and hands-on approach enable us to adapt to the evolving needs of the communities we serve.
