• Objective: Assist newcomers obtain their first affordable home in Canada.

EDUCATION Projects

• Objective: Prevent the “silent poverty” amongst newcomers by ensuring they receive Canadian education and accreditation to be able to land high-paying, professional careers. The goal is to have 1000 post-secondary graduates each year.

• Participants qualify for scholarships, academic support/tutor, mentorship towards landing a new career, and if available, a three-month work program with a participating company on selected courses.

CAREER Projects

Objective: Create a mentorship program for newcomers to be able to land their professional career in Canada.

Objective: A short-term program where businesses take in a newcomer to give them relevant Canadian experience so that they can apply for professional jobs.

RISEC Community Foundation is dedicated to assisting newcomers in their integration process into Canadian society. Our programs and services are aimed at addressing their immediate needs about their settlement, education, and career in Canada.
