The Career Ready program by RISEC Community Foundation is here to help you prepare for and achieve your career goals in Canada. Our comprehensive program offers a range of services designed to enhance your employability and guide you through the Canadian job market.

Personalized counseling to develop an individualized career plan.

Training on resume writing, interview preparation, and essential soft skills.

3. Credential Recognition Guidance

Assistance with credential recognition and access to bridging programs.

Continuous follow-up sessions to track progress and provide additional assistance.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join us in making the Career Ready program a success! We are looking for dedicated volunteers to fill the following positions.

  1. Career Counselors
    Provide one-on-one career counseling and help participants develop personalized career plans.

     

  2. Workshop Facilitators
    Conduct workshops on resume writing, interview skills, and soft skills development.

     

  3. Credential Recognition Advisors
    Assist participants in understanding and navigating the credential recognition process.

     

  4. Networking and Mentorship Coordinators
    Organize networking events and manage the mentorship program, pairing participants with experienced professionals.

     

  5. Job Search Assistants
    Provide support in job searching, job application processes, and connecting with employers.

     

  6. Program Coordinators
    Oversee the implementation and administration of the program, ensuring all activities run smoothly.

     

  7. Follow-up Support Volunteers
    Maintain ongoing communication with participants to track their progress and offer additional support.

Cover Letter and Resume Building

Interview Preparation and Practice

  • Description: Gain valuable tips on interview preparation and participate in practice interviews to boost your confidence and improve your skills.
