We are delighted to welcome Yamini Manojanan to the RISEC Community Foundation as our newest Executive HR Admin, joining the Canadian Horizons team. Yamini’s extensive administrative experience and strong technical background make her a perfect fit for our mission to support and empower community initiatives with exceptional operational efficiency.
Yamini’s career journey reflects her dedication to both technical and administrative excellence. She holds a BSc in Computer Technology from Anna University and an MS in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science. Her academic background provided a foundation for her role as a Mainframe Developer at Wipro Technologies, where she gained over four years of experience across the insurance, retail, and banking industries. Skilled in a variety of technical tools and languages such as COBOL, JCL, and DB2, Yamini’s work at Wipro strengthened her analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.
Following her IT career, Yamini transitioned into an administrative role, launching Maha’s Kitchen, a successful catering service in Kitchener. In this role, she not only managed day-to-day operations and team training but also handled key administrative functions, such as calendar and email management, document preparation, and customer service. Her experience in managing files, coordinating meetings, and overseeing logistics has equipped her with the skills to excel in her new role with RISEC. Yamini’s certifications, including Microsoft and LinkedIn’s Career Essentials in Administrative Assistance and a Google Data Analysis Professional Certificate, further enhance her proficiency in administrative tasks and data-driven decision-making.
As Executive HR Admin at Canadian Horizons, Yamini will be instrumental in streamlining HR operations, assisting with recruitment and onboarding, and enhancing internal communication. Her technical expertise with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other productivity tools will ensure efficient, organized workflows that keep our team aligned and productive. Known for her strong communication skills and attention to detail, Yamini is also fluent in both English and Tamil, which adds value to her role in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all team members.
Yamini’s approach to her work is marked by a dedication to lifelong learning, collaboration, and reliability. We are excited to have her on board and are confident that her contributions will play a vital role in achieving RISEC’s goals and supporting our community-focused initiatives.
