Welcome Our New Photographer: Rolandson Cruz!

We are thrilled to announce that Rolandson Cruz has joined RISEC Community Foundation as our new Photographer, based in Calgary, Alberta!

Rolandson brings over a decade of experience in photography and videography, with a specialization in real estate, product, portrait, event, corporate, and lifestyle shoots. His expertise in both taking and editing photos and videos ensures that every shot meets the highest standards of quality and creativity.

Before joining us, Rolandson worked as a Real Estate Photographer and Videographer at Premier Estate (Christies Intl. Real Estate) in Dubai from October 2021 to June 2024. There, he coordinated client appointments, handled interior and exterior photo and video shoots, and worked on promotional materials. He edited and uploaded high-quality photos and videos for various media platforms, contributing significantly to the company’s marketing efforts.

Prior to Premier Estate, Rolandson was a Real Estate Photographer at Espace Real Estate in Dubai from December 2020 to October 2021, where he honed his skills in real estate photography. He also worked as a Product Photographer at 2XL Home in Sharjah, UAE, from December 2017 to January 2021, capturing stunning images of furniture and home accessories for marketing purposes.

Rolandson’s early career includes experience as a Real Estate Photographer at Propertizer Middle East (YZER Properties) in Dubai, where he managed photographic equipment, took and edited pictures, and set up locations for shoots. His diverse background also includes roles as a Sales Associate at Boots Pharmacy (Alshaya Group) in Dubai, a Driver Merchandiser at Desert Goods Free Zone, and various other positions in the UAE, showcasing his versatility and dedication.

Rolandson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Information Systems from Centro Escolar University in the Philippines. He is skilled in digital software such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Final Cut Pro, and he has extensive knowledge of various camera types and studio lighting equipment.

His commitment to excellence is further demonstrated through his volunteer work as an Advance Photography Instructor for the Kabayan Non-Profit Organization in Dubai. Rolandson’s core competencies include decision-making, analytical and creative thinking, and strong verbal and written communication skills, all of which contribute to his ability to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and meet aggressive business goals.
