Her keen eye for detail and commitment to quality also shone through her role as a Proofreader at SYKES in Makati City, where she meticulously proofread web content to ensure grammatical accuracy and proper layout.

Ricaela also has experience as an Online English Teacher with CETT in Ortigas City, Philippines, where she taught English to students of various ages. This role underscored her ability to create engaging educational content and foster an interactive learning environment, skills that are invaluable for her new role at RISEC.
Ricaela’s diverse background and her academic pursuits in professional writing and literature make her a valuable addition to the RISEC team. She will be working full-time with us during the summer break and part-time in the afternoons and evenings once her academic year resumes in September 2024. Her availability during holidays ensures that our content needs are consistently met.
We are confident that Ricaela’s expertise, passion for writing, and commitment to enhancing the settlement experience for newcomers will greatly benefit our organization and the community we serve. Please join us in welcoming Ma. Ricaela Equibal to the RISEC Community Foundation family.
