Meet Joanna Marie Agader, Our New HR Manager at RISEC Community Foundation
We are thrilled to introduce Joanna Marie Agader as the newest member of the RISEC Community Foundation team, serving as our HR Manager. Joanna brings a rich blend of experience, education, and a dedication to excellence that perfectly aligns with the mission and values of RISEC.
Joanna’s journey in human resources and administration is rooted in a solid educational foundation. Currently, she is advancing her knowledge in Business-Human Resources at Centennial College Progress Campus in Toronto, where she is set to complete her studies in April 2025. This program is equipping her with the latest HR practices and theories, ensuring she remains at the forefront of the field.
Joanna also holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Cavite. Her accounting background not only enhances her analytical skills but also brings a meticulous and detail-oriented approach to her HR responsibilities.
Joanna’s professional experience is diverse and robust, spanning several industries and roles. Most recently, she served as an Accounting Staff/Accounts Receivable at Velca Travel and Tours Inc. in Muntinlupa City, Philippines. In this role, Joanna excelled in managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Before this, Joanna honed her administrative and accounting skills at Christian Growth Ministries Inc. in Dasmariñas, Cavite, where she managed payroll, addressed employee concerns, and handled various financial and administrative tasks. Her ability to balance administrative duties with employee relations showcases her versatility and commitment to fostering a supportive work environment.
Joanna’s career also includes a significant tenure as a Visual Inspector-Factory Worker at Acbel Polytech Inc. in New Taipei City, Taiwan. This role instilled in her a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality – attributes that continue to define her professional approach today.
Joanna is known for her resilient and flexible nature, always striving to learn and adapt in any situation. She is multilingual, fluent in both English and Filipino, which enhances her communication skills and her ability to connect with a diverse team and community.
Her proficiency in various computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks, complements her administrative and accounting capabilities, making her a well-rounded professional.
Joanna’s role as HR Manager at RISEC Community Foundation will see her leveraging her extensive experience and education to support our team and drive our HR initiatives forward. Her solution-focused attitude and problem-solving skills are invaluable assets that will help us continue to provide exceptional support to the families and newcomers we serve.
