We’re pleased to introduce Jeremiah Peter as the latest addition to the RISEC Community Foundation team in Canadian Horizons, where he will serve as our Social Media Manager. Based in Moncton, New Brunswick, Jeremiah brings a dynamic skill set in digital marketing, content creation, and data-driven analysis, making him well-suited to spearhead our social media strategy and engagement. With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Algoma University, Jeremiah blends his strong foundation in economics and data science with hands-on experience in content development, social media, and AI-driven projects.
Jeremiah’s recent experience as an intern with Canyon Entertainment Group involved collaborating across departments to produce social media videos, using advanced AI tools like Unreal Engine to create engaging, innovative content. His responsibilities included researching viewer behavior, generating 3D avatars, and designing virtual human projects to enhance digital engagement. This role allowed him to hone his analytical skills and gain insights into audience preferences, empowering him to craft impactful social media strategies.
In addition to his technical capabilities, Jeremiah is adept at using a range of project management tools, including Asana and Trello, which help him streamline communication and manage project timelines effectively. His proficiency in tools like Google Analytics and Microsoft Suite, as well as experience with accounting and CRM software, strengthens his ability to analyze metrics, optimize content, and ensure alignment with our organizational goals. This combination of digital marketing skills and a solid understanding of economics uniquely positions Jeremiah to drive RISEC’s social media presence with both creativity and strategic insight.
Jeremiah has also volunteered at the People’s Garden and Food Pantry at Algoma University, where he contributed to community outreach, managed volunteer teams, and supported fundraising efforts. His involvement in this role underscored his commitment to social impact and community development, values that align closely with RISEC’s mission to create a positive community presence.
