Meet Ifidon Omokhomion: A Dynamic Force for Change at RISEC Community Foundation
We are thrilled to welcome Ifidon Omokhomion to the RISEC Community Foundation team as one of our Program Managers for the Special Projects Team. With an impressive background in organizational change management and a passion for technology-driven transformation, Ifidon brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization.
A Leader in Organizational Change
Ifidon is a seasoned professional dedicated to driving business excellence through strategic digital transformations. His career has been marked by a commitment to optimizing business processes and ensuring user-centric approaches that deliver tangible benefits. One of his notable achievements includes re-engineering 12 HR business processes, which significantly enhanced HR service delivery and reduced request processing times by over 50%.
In his previous role as a Change Advisor at the Canadian Medical Protective Association in Ottawa, Ontario, Ifidon collaborated with senior leadership to implement organizational change strategies that led to 100% adoption of changes in six strategic initiatives. He established an Enterprise Change Enablement Strategy, standardized processes, and promoted best practices across the organization. His efforts resulted in the successful adoption of new tools and processes across multiple corporate initiatives.
Educational and Professional Excellence
Ifidon holds a Master of Management Innovation & Entrepreneurship from Queen’s University, a Master’s in Project Management from the University of Roehampton, and a B.Eng. in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Ambrose Alli University. He is also a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO®) and a Project Management Professional (PMP®).
His academic achievements are complemented by his professional experience, which includes roles as a Strategy & Project Specialist at Deloitte Canada and a Manager of HR Modernization at the Federal Inland Revenue Service in Nigeria. At Deloitte, he consulted with senior leaders to document project requirements, define project scopes, and promote Agile Project Management practices, leading to the successful delivery of crucial departmental projects.
Driving Innovation and Inclusion
Ifidon’s work is characterized by a focus on innovation and inclusion. At Deloitte, he achieved 100% adoption of new diversity hiring processes, significantly improving EDI awareness and fostering inclusive recruitment practices. He also initiated a 20-member EDI advocacy network to sustain and reinforce organizational changes resulting from corporate EDI initiatives.
In his role at the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Ifidon automated core HR business processes, coordinated IT implementation projects and conducted technical training for over 2000 employees. His efforts led to a remarkable increase in user adoption of SAP HCM modules.
