We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our RISEC Community Foundation team, Eunice Oladeji, who will be joining us as our Social Media Coordinator. Eunice brings a wealth of experience and a dynamic background in public health, community engagement, and strategic content development that will significantly enhance our social media presence and outreach efforts.
Eunice is based in Calgary, AB, and can be reached at euniceoladeji7a4gr_25d@indeedemail.com or 601-287-3950. Her impressive career spans multiple roles, showcasing her ability to lead impactful public health initiatives through meticulous strategic planning and strong stakeholder collaboration.
Most recently, Eunice served as a Public Health Educator at the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department in the US, where she produced monthly social media content on tobacco prevention, averaging 4500 impressions per post. She also managed a $1M+ tobacco prevention grant funded by the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement, collaborated with community partners to enhance cultural interventions, and led content creation efforts, including newsletters, radio commercials, and multimedia campaigns.
Eunice’s experience as a Subject Matter Expert and Content Developer with HurixDigital and other organizations underscores her expertise in content review, editing, and accurate metadata tagging. Her role as an Environmental Health Educator further highlights her ability to manage large-scale grants and projects, engage with diverse communities, and integrate digital and social media campaigns effectively.
In her previous role as a Research Assistant and Community Outreach Specialist at the Institute for the Advancement of Minority Health, Eunice developed research tools, managed survey distribution, facilitated focus group discussions, and created promotional materials to enhance participant recruitment. Her background also includes significant contributions to public health education and equity initiatives during her internship with the Mississippi Public Health Association.
Eunice holds an M.P.H. in Public Health (Health Promotion and Health Behavior) from the University of Southern Mississippi and an M.D. in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Ibadan. She is also certified by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc.
Her diverse skill set includes proficiency in English, French, and Yoruba, as well as expertise in Microsoft Office, Slack, Canva, Photoshop Express, photography and photo editing, WordPress, creative writing, editing, brand management, research and data analysis, strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, program management, grant writing, and social media management.
Eunice’s talent for content creation and graphic design will be instrumental in driving our social media strategy forward. We are excited to see the innovative ideas and fresh perspectives she will bring to RISEC.
