Announcement: Welcome Divya Kalra to the RISEC Community Foundation!
We are thrilled to announce that Divya Kalra has joined the RISEC Community Foundation as our newest Career Mentor, becoming an integral part of our Career Ready team.
Divya brings over five years of extensive experience in career advising and consultation services, having successfully guided and supported more than 50,000 young job seekers. Her work spans diverse organizations, including NGOs, Android apps, and social startups. Divya’s commitment to excellence and performance has been recognized with the ‘Most Promising Newcomer – Manager’ award by Medha Learning Foundation, where she surpassed annual targets by an impressive margin of 45%.
Divya has a proven track record in career planning and action plans, contributing to a 70% placement success rate for students in their respective fields of study. Her ability to create compelling data presentations has led to a 75% improvement in decision-making processes within organizations. In her recent role, she showcased her leadership skills by coaching new team members and spearheading internal projects. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Divya excels in connecting with diverse audiences.
Technically proficient, Divya is skilled in various operating systems (Windows, Android, iOS, Mac OS, Linux) and applications (Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, Asana, Retool, AWS, Zoho, Trello, Slack). Her project management expertise includes Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum methodologies.
Divya holds a Google IT Support Professional Certificate and a Junior IT Analyst Program certification from NPower Canada, both obtained in November 2023. She earned her Master’s in Human Rights and Duties from Panjab University in May 2015 and her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Punjab College of Technical Education in June 2013.
In her previous roles, Divya served as an Employment Counselor at ABM College in Calgary, where she exceeded placement targets and built strong relationships with local employers. As a Manager of People Growth and New Initiatives at NavGurukul Foundation for Social Welfare in Bangalore, she designed career development programs and implemented wellness initiatives. As an Operations Manager at Meet Android App by Medha Learning Foundation in Lucknow, she secured industrial partnerships and attracted over 100,000 new job seekers to the app. Earlier, as a Program Manager at Piramal Foundation for Education Leadership in New Delhi, she coached members in career trajectories and developed self-learning content.
