Based in Toronto, ON, Astha brings a wealth of experience and expertise in human resources, workforce analysis, and community development, making her an outstanding addition to our team.
Professional Background
Astha has a distinguished professional background marked by her roles in various HR and administrative capacities. Most recently, she served as an HR Services Senior Associate at Equinix, where she excelled in assisting peers with HR systems navigation, resolving employee and manager queries, and preparing employment offers and contracts. Her role involved managing sensitive variables, handling HR delivery team issues, and participating in immersive onboarding experiences. Astha’s ability to document hires’ details and generate necessary letters and documents showcases her meticulous attention to detail and organizational prowess.
Before her tenure at Equinix, Astha worked as a Human Resources Coordinator at Cellular Point CPVM-Group, collaborating with major telecom companies like Rogers, Fido, Freedom, and Chatr. In this role, she investigated employee relationship complaints, administered compliance with HR policies and procedures, and suggested strategies for employee engagement and benefits directly to the CEO. Her experience in handling federal and provincial employment laws, administering leave programs, and processing annual bonuses and salary reviews underscores her comprehensive HR expertise.
Astha has also held roles such as Recruitment Coordinator at Tiger Analytics and Recruiter at IKO Industries, where she led initiatives to analyze recruitment data, processed new hire paperwork, and engaged with clients and internal stakeholders to create organizational value. Her experience in conducting career fairs, networking events, and managing end-to-end onboarding processes highlights her capability in recruitment and talent acquisition.
Educational Background
Astha holds a Post Degree Certification in Human Resources Management from York University and an MBA from BPUT University in India. She also possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a DELF – Diploma in French Language (B1). Her commitment to continuous learning and professional development is evident in her educational achievements.

Astha is highly proficient in a range of tools and software essential for HR and community development. Her expertise includes ServiceNow, QuickBooks, Workday, Microsoft Office Suite, and various other HR and administrative software.
