Introducing Art Rea Rabino Jr. – RISEC Community Foundation’s New Technical Expert – Application Development
We are thrilled to welcome Art Rea Rabino Jr. to the RISEC Community Foundation as our new Technical Expert – Application Development. Art brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will be instrumental in the development of our upcoming app, designed to connect newcomers with essential information and resources to aid their settlement journey in Canada.
Art is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in IT, specializing in Cloud Computing, Process Automation, No Code Application Development, Server/Client Operating Systems, Data Storage Management, and Network Design and Maintenance. His technical troubleshooting and analysis skills are complemented by his strengths in teamwork, leadership, project management, and meticulous attention to detail.
Art’s professional journey includes roles such as Business Analyst, Mobile App and Software Developer, and IT Contractor at kode konek, where he developed numerous mobile apps, websites, and no-code programs. His projects spanned various domains, including inventory and sales systems, student management systems, ticketing systems, and more. As a Cybersecurity Instructor at atech Training Centre, he created curriculum and course materials, taught various IT courses, and managed IT infrastructures. In his role as IT Manager at Pumps and Pressure, Art administered domain servers, SQL servers, and Sage 300 ERP, managed Meraki appliances, and provided extensive system and network administration. At ICOM Productions, he supported IT infrastructure, client support services, and system/network administration. As a Website Developer, Art demonstrated deep expertise in web applications and programming languages, developing websites for various clients. At Buchanan Barry LLP, he led server migrations and managed VOIP telephone systems, enhancing network efficiency and disaster recovery processes. As a Google Apps for Education Administrator at the University of Northern Philippines, Art managed core services for users, analyzed website analytics, and created administrative scripts for efficiency. Additionally, he has experience as a university professor, teaching IT, Computing, Mathematics, and Physics.
Art holds a Certificate in Technology Infrastructure Management from SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) and an SAP (BI/BW) Certificate from ERP Technical College. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Physics with an emphasis on Computer Studies.
In addition to his professional achievements, Art is dedicated to community service, volunteering as a producer, videographer, and cameraman at the First Assembly Church since 2010.
