Allan joins us with a wealth of experience and a deep passion for community leadership, youth mentoring, and professional development. His multifaceted expertise spans human resources, operations, client services, and finance, making him a perfect fit for our mission to support newcomers in their career journeys.
Allan’s journey is a testament to his commitment to professional excellence and community service. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and Commerce from the University of Calgary, a foundation that has equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary for diverse and dynamic roles. Allan’s professional background includes key positions in various industries, where he has consistently demonstrated his ability to lead, mentor, and drive results.
In his recent role at Heritage Park in Calgary, Allan expertly managed the procurement of restaurant essentials, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining optimal stock levels. His strategic approach to inventory control and vendor management led to significant cost savings and enhanced operational efficiency. At La Brezza Restaurant, he spearheaded talent acquisition initiatives, streamlined inventory processes, and implemented bespoke point-of-sale systems that boosted transaction efficiency.
Allan’s passion for mentoring and community engagement is evident from his work with the Calgary Immigrant Women’s Association (CIWA). As a Youth Mentor, ESL Tutor, and Mock Interview Coach, he has helped numerous youths and adults navigate the complexities of job searches, career development, and language acquisition.
