Position Overview:

The Senior Project Manager Supervisor will oversee and guide multiple project teams at RISEC Community Foundation. This role is critical in ensuring that all projects are managed efficiently, on track, and aligned with the organization’s mission to support newcomers and their families. This position reports directly to the CEO of RISEC Community Foundation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Project Managers:
  • Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers across various initiatives, ensuring they have the resources and support to meet project goals and timelines.
  • Project Oversight:
  • Monitor and review the progress of all active projects, ensuring they are moving forward according to schedule, within budget, and in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Strategic Planning:
  • Work with the CEO and senior leadership to develop and refine project strategies that align with RISEC’s mission and objectives.
  • Problem Solving:
  • Identify and resolve any issues or roadblocks that arise during project execution, providing guidance and support to project teams.
  • Performance Tracking:
  • Develop KPIs and performance metrics for project managers and teams to ensure accountability and effective management.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Serve as a liaison between project teams and key stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify potential risks across all projects and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of project progress, challenges, and successes, and report these to the CEO and senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • • Experience: 5+ years in project management, preferably in a non-profit or community-based organization, with supervisory or leadership experience.
  • • Education: PMP or CAPM certification is an asset but not required.
  • • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., ClickUp, Asana, Microsoft Project).
  • • Other Requirements: Candidates must sign an NDA due to the sensitive nature of the projects and may be required to undergo a police clearance check.

Preferred:

  • • Experience working with newcomers, families, or in community development.
  • • A track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
