About the Program:

The RISEC Youth Leadership and Excellence Awards (RYLE Awards) is a program that recognizes and awards young newcomers who are excelling academically, in the community, or in sports. The program aims to identify and celebrate top newcomer performers, initially in Calgary, Alberta, with plans to expand across Canada. In 2025, the goal is to recognize up to 30 individuals with a minimum of $1,000 scholarship each.

Job Summary:

The Partnership Manager builds and maintains relationships with organizations, businesses, and individuals for sponsorships, donations, and collaborative initiatives. This role secures funding and resources to support the program.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential sponsors, donors, and partners.
  • Develop and implement partnership strategies to secure funding and resources.
  • Prepare and present sponsorship proposals and donation requests.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with partners and donors.
  • Coordinate collaborative initiatives and joint projects with partners.
  • Track and report on fundraising efforts and partnership outcomes.
  • Attend networking events and meetings to identify potential partners.
  • Manage partnership agreements and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to align partnership activities with program goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in partnership development, fundraising, or sales.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering presentations and proposals.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Networking skills and ability to identify potential partners.
  • Passion for supporting newcomer youth.
