Position Overview:

We are seeking a volunteer Business Research Analyst to support the CEO in conducting and synthesizing research on various topics critical to the foundation’s mission and growth. The analyst will explore areas such as trends in non-profit and newcomer services, community outreach strategies, program impact assessments, and industry benchmarks. This role will provide an invaluable experience to gain hands-on knowledge and make a tangible impact in a dynamic non-profit setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on diverse topics related to newcomer support, non-profit trends, community engagement, and related areas.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to create insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare clear, concise research reports, summaries, and presentations for the CEO.
  • Identify best practices in non-profit management, community support programs, and partnership development.
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing insights on competitor activities, funding opportunities, and relevant industry developments.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Economics, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently.
