Position Overview:

RISEC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Requirements Researcher to volunteer for three months. This role is essential to helping RISEC identify and document the business, application, and qualification requirements necessary to partner with strategic organizations. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain experience in the non-profit sector, business analysis, or research, with a strong interest in supporting newcomer families in Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth research on application, qualification, and compliance requirements for RISEC to engage with various funding bodies, grants, and support organizations.
  • Identify and document the specific requirements RISEC must meet to qualify for support from strategic partners.
  • Analyze and compile information to help RISEC align its offerings and programs with the standards of potential supporters and funding organizations.
  • Assist in the creation of requirement documents and reports to guide internal teams in meeting qualifications.
  • Provide general support and recommendations to RISEC leadership based on research findings.
  • Regularly communicate progress, findings, and insights to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Background in business analysis, research, or related field (experience or education).
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and present information clearly and concisely.
  • Interest in non-profit development and supporting community initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
