Position Overview:
RISEC Community Foundation is seeking a dedicated and organized Administrative Assistant to support our senior executives in managing day-to-day operations. This volunteer position is ideal for someone who is passionate about community service, highly organized and enjoys working in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Appointment Booking:
- Assist senior executives with scheduling appointments with various community groups and stakeholders.
- Maintain an up-to-date calendar and ensure timely communication of schedule changes.
- Meeting Organization:
- Organize and coordinate team meetings, including sending invites, preparing agendas, and arranging logistics.
- Take detailed meeting minutes and follow up on action items as needed.
- ThirdParty Communication:
- Act as a liaison between RISEC and third party individuals or organizations.
- Manage correspondence, including emails and letters, on behalf of senior executives.
- Front Desk Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for RISEC, handling incoming calls and messages with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide general information about RISEC to callers and visitors.
- Administrative Support:
- Assist with various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
- Support the senior executives in their daily tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar tools.
- Previous administrative experience is an asset, but not required.
- A friendly and approachable demeanor with a passion for helping others.
