RISEC Community Foundation is thrilled to welcome Tayo Adeyemo to the Canadian Horizons team as our new Magazine Designer. Tayo brings a wealth of experience and a versatile skill set that perfectly align with the dynamic needs of our publication. With a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the National Open University of Nigeria and a College diploma in Web Development from Akonnect Media School, Tayo’s academic foundation is robust and well-suited to the demands of digital and print design.

Tayo’s professional journey spans over a decade, marked by significant roles in graphic design, web development, photography, and video production. His experience as a Graphic Designer with Gold View Tech in Lagos, where he developed creative solutions for various projects, has honed his ability to produce high-quality visual content that resonates with audiences. Tayo’s proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, combined with his ability to lead design projects from concept through completion, ensures that our magazine will continue to stand out for its aesthetic appeal and user-centric design.

In addition to his graphic design expertise, Tayo’s background in web development adds a valuable dimension to his role at Canadian Horizons. His experience in creating responsive websites using HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks like React.js, positions him to contribute to the digital side of our magazine as well. His collaboration with UX/UI designers and his commitment to learning new technologies will undoubtedly enhance our online presence and user experience.

Tayo’s diverse skill set also extends to photography and videography, where he has excelled as a freelance photographer and a videographer/editor for AfricanadTv in Winnipeg. His ability to capture high-quality images and edit video content using industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro reflects his dedication to visual storytelling. This multifaceted experience will allow him to bring a fresh and creative perspective to our magazine’s design and content.
