Shobana brings with her a wealth of experience and an impressive portfolio that aligns perfectly with the creative and dynamic needs of our magazine.

She has also honed her expertise in UX/UI Design through advanced studies at Aspira Design Academy, equipping her with a comprehensive understanding of user-centered design principles. Her academic achievements have laid a solid foundation for her to excel in various aspects of design, from traditional print media to the latest digital platforms.
Shobana’s professional journey is marked by her extensive experience in graphic design, which she has cultivated through significant roles at Mayne Inc. and Contique Global. At Mayne Inc., she played a critical role in developing cohesive and engaging designs that spanned digital and print mediums. Shobana collaborated closely with marketing, content, and web development teams to produce designs that not only met specific objectives but also aligned seamlessly with brand guidelines. Her work encompassed a wide range of design projects, including packaging, social media graphics, web design, and multimedia presentations. Her proficiency in industry-standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and her strong understanding of typography, illustration, and photography allowed her to create visually striking and culturally relevant designs.
At Contique Global, Shobana further demonstrated her ability to manage multiple high-pressure projects with tight deadlines, consistently delivering top-quality output. Her keen attention to detail and commitment to quality control were evident as she produced high-resolution graphics for both digital and print, ensuring that every design was executed to perfection. Her adaptability and creative problem-solving skills have made her a valuable asset in any team, particularly in environments that demand both innovation and precision.
As a Magazine Designer for Canadian Horizons, Shobana will be instrumental in crafting the visual identity of our publication, ensuring that every issue resonates with our audience and effectively communicates our mission. We are confident that her blend of creativity, technical skills, and passion for design will elevate our magazine to new heights. Welcome to the team, Shobana!
