Welcome to the RISEC Community Foundation Team, Ogochukwu Omodia!

We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to our Human Resources team, Ogochukwu Omodia, who joins us as a Human Resources Manager. Ogochukwu, also known as Ogo, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in HR administration, recruitment, and talent management that will be invaluable to our organization.

With over five years of experience in HR Administration and support, Ogochukwu has developed a robust skill set that aligns perfectly with our mission at RISEC Community Foundation. Her expertise in maintaining records, strategic sourcing, and effective communication makes her a key asset to our team. Ogo’s proficiency in MS Office and HR software ensures that our HR processes will be efficient and streamlined, contributing to the overall productivity of our foundation.

Ogochukwu’s journey in human resources began with her role as an HR Generalist at Shaveh Homes, where she honed her skills in recruitment and employee management. Her ability to support hiring managers in executing human resource and talent strategies, particularly in recruitment, retention, and succession planning, has been instrumental in her career. At Pinnah Foods Ltd, she served as an HR-Recruitment Specialist, where she excelled in strategic sourcing, screening, and evaluating candidates. Her keen understanding of industry trends and talent market dynamics allowed her to guide recruitment strategies effectively, ensuring that the organizations she worked with attracted and retained top talent.

In addition to her practical experience, Ogochukwu holds a CIPM professional degree in human resources management, which is equivalent to a Canadian Bachelor’s degree by WES in 2020. This educational background, combined with her hands-on experience, provides her with a comprehensive understanding of human resources management that she will bring to her role at RISEC.

Ogochukwu is passionate about leveraging her skills to support the growth and development of our team. She is adept at maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, preparing recruitment reports, and analyzing recruitment data and metrics to aid in the sourcing and selection process. Her ability to collaborate with departmental managers to understand the required skills and competencies for vacancies will ensure that we continue to build a strong and capable team.
